Faith wins in state B consolation round

• ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) -- Faith outscored Centerville by 20 points in the second half to post a 62-45 win Friday in the consolation round of the South Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament.
• Centerville (17-8) led 21-18 at the half but it was all Faith (20-4) in the second half.
• The Longhorns shot 46 percent, led by Tyler Hohenberger's 18 points. Josh Asdahl and Rio Hulm had 11 points each. Hohenberger grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds.
• The Tornadoes shot just 28 percent. They were led by Rory O'Malley's 12 points and Tyrell Martz's 11.
• Seamus O'Malley had a game-high 12 rebounds.

Sisseton beats Tea Area 47-35 in state A semis

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Sisseton held Tea Area to eight points in the first half and coasted into the championship game of the South Dakota Class A boys basketball tournament with a 47-35 win.
• Sisseton (19-5) held Tea Area to just 22 percent shooting. The Titans led 23-8 at halftime.
• Wyatt Youngblom had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Sisseton. He was 8-for-14 from the field.
• Ethan Kranhold had 12 points and Jordan Cornelius added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
• Ryan Sabers led the Titans (16-9) with 14 points.

Madison earns state A title game berth

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Unbeaten Madison dominated the second half in beating St. Thomas More 40-32 Friday in the South Dakota Class A boys basketball semifinals.
• The top-seeded Bulldogs (24-0) outscored the Cavaliers 25-11 in the second half to reach the state title game.
• St. Thomas More (17-7) struggled offensively. It shot just 27 percent from the field and made only 3 of 13 free throws.
• Jacob Giles scored just 12 points to lead the Bulldogs in scoring. But Preston Nordling, Trae VandeBerg and Jacob Leighton had eight points each.
