Sioux Falls Roosevelt reaches state AA semifinals
• RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- Sioux Falls Roosevelt took charge in the third quarter and held off Yankton 59-53 at the South Dakota Class AA boys basketball tournament on Thursday.
• Yankton saw its chances end with a turnover with 34 seconds left. Instead of possibly tying the game at 53, the Rough Riders (20-3) went to the other end and put the game away from the line.
