Less is More

• I bought X today (you may substitute just about any product for X).  By the time I cut through all of the hard clear plastic, card board, tape, plastic wrap etc… the pile of "packaging" was  at least five times larger than the product I wanted.  The cost and waste of this is mind boggling.  I remember when I was small, the early 60s, that we would SAVE the plastic bags that bread came in and use them over and over again for a variety of jobs.  Now, we have pounds of material to throw away (or if lucky, recycle) just in living our daily lives.
