Low pressure system tracking south of the region will bring snow to the eastern Dakotas and western Minnesota today. The greatest snowfall amounts will occur over the central James River Valley into northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota where 4 to 7 inches are possible. Snow should come to an end later this evening.
