Miller leads Mitchell over SF O'Gorman 61-48

• BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) -- Macy Miller dominated from start to finish, scoring 40 points and grabbing 12 rebounds as Mitchell beat Sioux Falls O'Gorman 61-48 in the South Dakota Class AA girls basketball semifinals on Friday.
• Miller was 13 of 19 from the field and made all 14 free throw attempts. She has 78 points in two games, leaving her three shy of the state tournament scoring record.
• Taylor Volesky added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Kernals (23-1), who outscored O'Gorman 20-6 in the fourth quarter.
• Dalee Stene and Peyton Bjorkman led O'Gorman with 12 points apiece.

Sanborn Central-Woonsocket takes down Hanson 67-46

• HURON, S.D. (AP) -- Sanborn Central-Woonsocket's Shelby Selland took control Friday with 34 points and 11 rebounds as the Blackhawks beat Hanson 67-46 in the semifinals of the South Dakota Class B girls basketball tournament.
• Selland made 15 of 23 shots from the field for the Blackhawks (24-1), who are in the state tournament for the third straight year of the co-op. Selland was the only Sanborn Central-Woonsocket player in double figures.
• Kynedi Cheeseman poured in 19 points for Hanson (22-3). She made 10 of 11 free throws.
• Hanson was outscored 19-3 in the second quarter and never recovered.

St Thomas More heads to state A title game

• SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) -- Alexys Swedlund scored 20 points and Ciara Duffy added 15 as St. Thomas More beat Sioux Valley 66-34 Friday in the semifinals of the South Dakota Class A girls basketball tournament.
• Swedlund was 7-for-14 from the field, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists for the Cavaliers. Duffy was 6-for-9 and hauled down seven rebounds.
• St. Thomas More (22-1), which last won the state championship in 2012, gave up just 10 first-half points and took a 27-10 lead into half.
• Madison Kirsch had two of her team's five 3-pointers and 12 points.
• Kaylee Granum had three 3-pointers and 11 points for the Cossacks (20-4).
