Mild air will remain in place across the region today with highs generally in the 50s and 60s. By this evening, rain will spread into central South Dakota. Rain will change to snow later tonight and also spread further east across the forecast area. A couple inches of accumulation are possible by Tuesday morning from central South Dakota into the central James River valley.
