Greenfield Announces Candidacy

• Lana Greenfield, Doland, is announcing her candidacy for District 2 House of Representatives.  Greenfield, a retired teacher of 37 years, grew up on a farm near Bryant.   A graduate of Black Hills State University, Lana has a Bachelor of Science degree in English education.  She and her husband, Don, own and operate the Short Stop, a gas station-convenience store in Clark, and Greeny's restaurant- lodging in Doland.  Lana is looking forward to serving this district where she is well-acquainted with many people and with some of the

local issues.   " I have spent my entire life in public service at the local level.  Now I would like the opportunity to work for the people of District 2."  Greenfield, a Republican, supports economic development, gun owner rights, credible academic programs, strong family values, and is pro-life.  She is a firm believer in "common sense" government.  "The state government does not have to be involved in every issue; many local problems can be fixed at that level."   District 2 encompasses Hamlin, Clark, Spink, and southern Brown counties.
