• Gladys "Patsy" Erna (Schmidt) Ritter-Miller, age 87, passed away peacefully in Hospice House of Holland, Michigan on February 22, 2014.
• Gladys was born on January 25, 1927 in Groton, SD to Walter and Lorna (Gengerke) Schmidt. She was baptized and confirmed at the First English Lutheran Church of Groton. She graduated from Groton High School.
• Gladys studied in Sioux City, Iowa at the Western Union Telegraph School. She worked as a Teletype Operator in San Francisco, California and Chicago, Illinois for Western Union.
• Celebrating her life are her children Michael Ritter

(Karon) of Florida with businesses in Hillsdale, Michigan and Carmen Hannah of Holland, Michigan. Her brother, Gordon Schmidt of Bath, also survives, Patsy.

• Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, three sisters and husbands Rodney Ritter and Arnold Miller.

• Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned at a later date in Hillsdale, Michigan.

•Services for Gay Kolb, 83, of Groton will be 2 p.m., Sunday, March 9 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ferney. The Rev. Lloyd Redhage will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen.

• Visitation will be held at Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.

• Gay died March 3, 2014 at her residence.
