South Dakota State beats South Dakota 75-61

• BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) -- Jordan Dykstra scored 19 points Saturday and grabbed 10 rebounds as South Dakota State dominated Summit League rival South Dakota 75-61.
• The Jackrabbits never trailed and jumped to an 8-1 lead, then used runs of 8-0 and 11-2 to lead 37-24 at halftime. Dykstra scored 11 points in the half.
• South Dakota State (18-11, 10-4) opened the second half with a 7-2 run and led by as many as 23. The Coyotes ripped a 10-0 run, capped by a 3-pointer by Tyler Flack, to narrow the lead to 67-51 at 3:48, but the Jackrabbits' lead was too big to overcome.
• Brayden Carlson scored 15 for South Dakota State, Jake Bittle 13, Cody Larson 12, and Chad White 10 and five assists. The Jackrabbits out-rebounded the Coyotes 40-29.
• Brandon Bos led South Dakota (12-17, 6-8) with 21 points and Flack finished with 16.
