Cold air will remain in place today and tonight with arctic high pressure right overhead. Combined with a light breeze, bitterly cold wind chills will persist through this morning, and return again tonight and into Monday morning. A very gradual warming trend is expected in temperatures this week, however values will still be below normal overall. A couple of clipper systems are also forecast to move across the region this week, and may bring periods light snowfall to some areas.
