Southwesterly winds will switch to the west northwest this afternoon and become gusty. Wind speeds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts in excess of 40 mph are possible for some areas. These gusts may combine with recent snowfall to produce periods of blowing or drifting snow, especially in open areas. Be prepared for the potential of reduced visibility. Cold temperatures are again anticipated tonight.
