The combination of an arctic boundary moving through the region and a strong low pressure system east of the area will bring gusty northwesterly winds to the Dakotas. Sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts exceeding 45 mph are possible. Some snow showers could develop along I-29 later this afternoon.
