Severe Weather Threat Moving East; Winter Weather and Strong Winds Continue in the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest

• A powerful winter storm moving through the Great Lakes will drive thunderstorms across the eastern U.S. through Friday morning. The northern part of the system will bring areas of heavy snow and freezing rain to the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes and the Northeast, with blizzard conditions in MN & IA. Strong winds will impact a large portion of the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley.
