South Dakota Representative, Kristi Noem, came to the Groton-Hamlin girls basketball game Friday in Groton. She has a daughter that plays on the team, but she said she enjoyed coming to Groton to watch both teams as she said that she knows several girls on the Groton team. She took time to have per picture taken with Julianna and Jeslyn Kosel. Noem is South Dakota's only representative in the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. When asked what she thought about serving in Washington, D.C., she said, "There is nothing that can prepare you for the life in Washington, D.C." (Photo #925 by Paul Kosel)
