A Stormy Presidents Day for the Northwest U.S.

• An active weather pattern will continue over the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies on Monday, bringing heavy precipitation and strong winds to the region. Additional rainfall will cause rises in many rivers, lowland flooding and increased threat of landslides. Heavy snowfall is expected at higher elevations. Rain on top of snow in the mountains will continue the threat for avalanches.
