Much Needed Precipitation Continues Across the West as the South Gears Up for More Winter Weather.

• Much needed rain and snow will continue this week across the Northwest. Travel could occasionally become hazardous where snow and freezing rain are present. In addition, flash flooding will be possible with heavy rainfall. Meanwhile across the South, winter weather makes a return through midweek with heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain possible as a cold airmass settles in behind an arctic front.
