Girls beat Webster
• The Groton girls basketball team defeated Webster, 43-33, in action played January 30 in Groton.
• Camille Sippel led the Tigers with 14 points followed by Courtney Kurtz with 13, Carly Wheeting 12 and Kylie Hawkins and Tori Bjerke each added two points.
• Groton made 14 of 28 field goals, 15 of 22 free throws, had 19 rebounds with Ashley Gibbs having five and Hawkins and Wheeting each having four, 12 steals with Halle Dohman and Kurtz each having three, and five assists with Sippel having two. Groton had 18 turnovers and 12 team fouls.
• Webster was led in scoring by Jodi McCrary with eight points followed by McKanzi Volesky and Brenna Bullert with six each, Lindsey Vogl had five, Mariah Volskey four and Witney Keller and Dylon Hanson each had two.
• Groton won the junior varsity game, 24-19. Marlee Jones led Groton with 13 points while Katie Koehler, Maryn Howard and Emily Locke each had three and Tori Bjerke added two points.

Boys junior varsity team beats Langford
• Groton boys junior varsity game with Langford. Groton won, 37-36.
• Scoring: Luke Sternhagen 14, Wyatt Larson 9, Adam Herman 8, Kyler Ell 3, Chance Strom 2, Seric Shabazz 1. Wyatt Larson had four rebounds, Luke Sternhagen had three assists and Seric Shabazz had three steals.
