Johnston takes Jacob bowling Saturday morning and he stays overnight and then she takes him to Sunday School the following morning.
• But on the weekend of January 12, the area had received some freezing rain. Sarah Tewksbury recalled that Judy had called everyone to tell them to be careful if they had to go out of town. "I told her the same because I knew that she would be leaving to go to church," Sarah said.
• Jacob said, "Grandma slipped and fell on the ice. I was waiting for her to tell me to get the phone, but she didn't say anything so I just went in to get the phone and call my dad and I said come here as quick as you can." When he went back outside, Judy was trying to crawl her way up the stairs to try and get in the house.
• When Jacob called his dad, Brad recalled they were just getting out of bed that Sunday morning when the phone rang. "He said can you come over here right
