Kindergartener uses life skills learned in school and at home to help his great-grandmother
• The Anne Murray song, "A Little Good News" is what we are breaking with in this week's Groton Independent. It's a story about a Groton Area Elementary kindergarten student who helped his great-grandmother when she slipped on the ice. The story centers around students learning life skills and implementing them when they least expect it.
• It was a typical weekend, but with an unexpected twist. Five-year-old Jacob Tewksbury was staying at his great-grandmother's home over the weekend. Judy (Continued on page 3)
