• A winter storm in the central U.S. will continue to spread a wintry mix of precipitation through the Plains, Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast through Sunday. Heavy snow is expected from parts of the Midwest into northern New England, while freezing rain is forecast from the southern Plains, through the mid-Mississippi River Valley into central New England.
