Groton boys run past Webster

• The Groton boys had a hot hand and showed off their talents in front of a crowd for Parent's Night as the Tigers defeated Webster, 72-42.
• Groton made 49 percent of its field goals, 50 percent of its three-pointers and 72 percent of its free throws.
• Webster was no match for the Tigers, making only 26 percent of its field goals, 21 percent of its three-pointers and 60 percent of its free throws.
• Four players hit double figures with Wyatt Lone leading the way with 16 points followed by Kyler Ell with 14, Mason Madsen 12, Kasey Kurtz 10, Reilly Ell eight, Lucas Sternhagen six, Spencer Knecht four and Wyatt Larson had two points.
• Groton controlled the boards, 38-24, with Madsen having nine and Reilly Ell eight. Groton had 17 fouls which allowed the Bearcats to make 12 of 20 free throws. The Tigers had 12 turnovers, with only three of those being steals. Reilly Ell had one
