Panel debates extending SD lawmakers' term limits

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- South Dakota lawmakers are considering a proposal that would lengthen term limits for members of the state Legislature.
• A Senate or House member currently can serve no more than eight consecutive years, or four two-year terms, in a chamber.
