Heavy Snow Continues in the Rockies; Wintry Weather Developing in the Plains

• A storm system in the West will continue to bring heavy snow to parts of the Rockies through Friday. Also on Friday, the storm will shift into the Plains spreading a wintry mix of precipitation into the central U.S. Meanwhile, a combination of bitter temperatures and gusty winds will bring dangerous wind chills to parts of the Upper Midwest and northern Plains through Friday morning.
