• Twenty-seven-year-old Lamont Hamilton was convicted earlier of giving a 17-year-old girl alcohol in April 2012, taking her to a motel room and forcing the intoxicated girl to have sex after taking her cellphone.
• Hamilton was sentenced on Monday to 15 years in prison for kidnapping and 25 years for rape. He must serve at least 20 years behind bars before being eligible for parole.

Sioux Falls convenience store robbed at gunpoint

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Sioux Falls police are investigating the robbery of a Kum & Go convenience store.
• Authorities say two males walked into the store shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday and demanded money. One was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
• Police say the suspects fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
