Rare Winter Weather Event Will Wind Down Across the Deep South on Wednesday While the Northwest U.S. Gets Much Needed Precipitation.

• Snow, sleet and ice will begin to wind down across the southeast U.S. on Wednesday leaving behind cold temperatures. While impacts continue across the South with this rare winter weather event, much needed precipitation arrives in the Northwest. Snow and ice will be possible especially across higher elevations, which could make travel hazardous at times through the region.
