The region is being impacted by hazardous weather conditions which will persist through at least late this evening. Very strong north to northwest winds of 30 to 45 mph with gusts exceeding 55 mph will occur throughout the day into this evening. Conditions begin settling down with visibility improving overnight. However wind chill values dropping to 25 below to 50 degrees below zero will take place of the blizzard and high wind conditions from late tonight through Tuesday morning.
