A low pressure system will affect the area with a couple of inches of snow possible late this afternoon through early Sunday morning. Then during the day on Sunday, very strong northwest winds of 30 to 45 mph with gusts likely exceeding 55 mph will develop causing reduced visibilities due to falling and blowing snow. Hazardous travel conditions are likely. At this time, high wind watches and blizzard watches have been posted throughout the region.
