We were losing our confidence at the end and we were struggling on offense." Clark-Willow Lake scored after Groton was charged with an offensive foul. Then another Groton turnovers turned into two free throws and with 57 seconds left in the game, the contest was tied at 42. Wanner called time out.

right and the Tigers called another time-out with 11 seconds left. "Joel (Guthmiller) saw something." Wanner changed things up a bit. Camille Sippel and Carly Wheeting switched roles to take advantage of what their defenders were doing.  It worked as Carly Wheeting's shot at the buzzer went in.

• Courtney Kurtz led Groton with 14 points followed by Carly Wheeting with 11, Audrey Wanner and Camille Sippel each had six, Tori Bjerke had four and Halle Dohman added three points.
• Clark-Willow Lake was led by MacKenzie Huber with 14 points followed by Morgan Huber with 10, Kandra Holden had nine, MiKayla Prounty six and Janie Holden three.
• Groton made 11 of 18 free throws off of Clark-Willow Lake's 19 team fouls while the Cyclones made five of 11 free throws off of Groton's 12 team fouls.
• Groton made 12 of 42 field goals, had 25 rebounds with Kurtz having six and Wheeting and Bjerke each having five, 14 steals with Kurtz having five and Sippel and Hawkins each having two, 10 assists with seven by Kurtz, and six turnovers.
• Clark-Willow Lake made 41 percent of its field goals, had 18 turnovers, three
