• ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) -- The South Dakota Film Festival is accepting submissions for the eighth installment of the annual event held in Aberdeen.
• The festival planned for Sept. 25-28 screens films in three categories: narrative, documentary and animation. The categories include both short and feature-length films.
• The South Dakota Film Festival has hosted Hollywood actors such as Kevin Costner and Graham Greene, and behind-the-scenes talent such as cinematographer Adam Greenberg, film producer Sean Covel, director Chris Eyre and casting director Rene Haynes.
• The festival is an IMDb Qualifying Festival, granting all eligible film submissions a fast-tracked title page on IMDb.com.
• Submissions are being accepted until June 30.
