NSU education teachers observe Groton school board meeting

• Several students from Northern State University, Aberdeen, attended the Groton Area School Board meeting Monday to observe a meeting in education. It is part of their course, Foundation of American Education.
• Starting at the left and going clockwise are: John Patzlaff, Platte, he will be a student teacher in Groton and will be teaching under Reid Johnson and Deb Jensen in 6-12 band and 5-6 general music; Tyler Schwan, Surrey, N.D., he will be student teaching in Chamberlain will he will be working under Phil Carlson; Hannah Treinen, Ortonville, Minn., will be student teaching at CC Lee, Aberdeen, under Rebecca Reierson in first grade; Justin Fox, Minneota, Minn., will be student teaching in Groton under Deb Winburn in third grade; Teresa Edelman, Albertville, Minn., will be student teaching in Groton under Emily Eichler in first grade; Morgan Lock, Forman, N.D., will be student teaching in Milnor, N.D., under Pam Gabel in second grade; and Meghan Zinter, Aberdeen, will be student teaching in Langford under Susan Larson in fourth grade.
