• Four players hit double figures for Roncalli with Brayden McNeary having 20, Zach Andera and Lucas Lorenz each had 15, Zach Schaefbauer had 10 and Layne Holzer had eight as all of the scoring was done by the starters.
• Groton made 38 percent f its field goals while Roncalli made 57 percent.
• Groton had 13 turnovers, seven of which were steals. Roncalli had 11 turnovers, six of which were steals with Madsen having two.
• Both teams had 28 rebounds with Madsen having eight. Groton had five assists and Madsen had the only block.  Reilly Ell and Kurtz each had a three-pointer while the Cavaliers had four three-point shots.
• Groton made 15 of 22 free throws off of Roncalli's 15 team fouls. Roncalli made 12 of 26 free throws off of Groton's 22 team fouls. Madsen and Reilly Ell both fouled out for Groton and McNeary fouled out for Roncalli.
• Groton is now 6-1 and will host Mobridge-Pollock on Saturday.
• Roncalli won the junior varsity game, 41-31. Lucas Sternhagen led the Tigers with 11 points while Wyatt Larson had five, Bennett Shabazz four, Chance Strom three and Kyler Ell, Adam Herman, Seric Shabazz and Matt Knecht each had two points.
• The Cavaliers made it a clean sweep with a 48-17 win in the C game. Adam Herman had six points, Sean Schuring and Bennett Shabazz each had five and Truitt Rogers added one free throw.
