Areas of blowing and drifting snow are possible this morning in northeast SD and west central MN before winds slacken. The blowing and drifting snow may cause reduced visibilities or icy patches on roadways. Otherwise, tonight through Tuesday a very cold air mass will move south and combine with 15 to 30 mph winds to create brutally cold wind chills. Wind chills from 35 below to less than 50 below zero are likely. Take necessary precautions if outside or traveling.
