This morning, expect gusty south winds and blowing snow across northeast SD and west central MN. Precipitation begins by mid-afternoon, with a wintry mix expected. A cold front plows into the region tonight. This will produce light snow and very strong northwest winds. After today an arctic air mass pushes into the region, with brutally cold wind chills expected Saturday night through early next week. Monday morning looks to be the coldest time period.
