Bitterly cold wind chills will continue through the morning hours. Conditions should gradually improve as wind speeds taper off and temperatures rise a few degrees this afternoon. Light snow also continues across much of north central and northeast South Dakota this morning, but should taper off this afternoon. Another band of light snowfall is possible for counties west of the Missouri river tonight. Very cold temperatures are expected overnight and into Thursday morning. Winds will be very light however.
