New Mexico State over South Alabama 82-64

• LAS CRUSES, N.M. (AP) -- D.K. Eldridge scored 16 points with 12 rebounds to lead New Mexico State to an 82-64 victory over South Alabama Saturday night.
• Daniel Mullings added 18 points for the Aggies (11-5). Tshilidzi Nephawe scored 12 points with nine rebounds and K.C. Ross-Miller had 10 points and 10 assists. New Mexico State hit 63.5 percent from the field overall and sank 65 percent from the line.
• The Aggies jumped to a 19-9 lead halfway through the first period and maintained a double-digit lead into the break, 37-26. Early in the second, Ross-Miller hit a layup, a free throw, and one from beyond the arc within 20 seconds to extend the New Mexico State lead to 16. The Aggies never looked back.
• The Jaguars (6-7) were just 43 percent from the field. Augustine Rubit led the team with 11 points and six rebounds.

South Dakota State rallies to beat UMKC 65-60

• KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Brayden Carlson scored 20 points Saturday night and South Dakota State rallied to beat UMKC 65-60.
• UMKC (3-9) jumped to a 10-2 lead, but South Dakota State (8-7) clawed back and Carlson hit two 3-pointers to give the Jackrabbits a 28-25 lead. UMKC's Frank Williams Jr. replied with a jumper, sparking an 8-2 run and the Kangaroos led 33-30 at halftime.
• Connor Devine tied it at 36 with a second-half jumper and the Jackrabbits pulled away and led 51-43 with 9 minutes to go. Trinity Hall twice pulled UMKC to within four, then scored back-to-back dunks to make it a one-point game with 15 seconds to go, but Martez Harrison drew a technical foul with 0:04 to play and free throws by
