Mild temperatures will continue through the morning hours today with many locations seeing highs in the lower 30s. An arctic frontal boundary will then slide across the region from the northwest to the southeast from late morning through the afternoon hours. This boundary will usher in significantly colder temperatures, strong northerly winds, and perhaps some light snowfall. The combination of the bitter cold temperatures and strong northerly winds will cause wind chill values to range between 20 below, to 40 degrees below zero tonight through Sunday morning.
