Pierpont's only church closing its doors

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pierpont, will be having its final worship service on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014. Declining attendance has led to the closure of the church and unless something happens between now and Jan. 5, the church will be closed. The closure of the church will leave the town of Pierpont without a church. The First Presbyterian Church in Pierpont closed earlier this year with that building being moved out of town.
