The last in a series of Alberta Clippers will move through the region today. There will be a chance of light snow - mainly across northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota. Otherwise dry and mild conditions will persist through Friday. An arctic airmass will move back into the region on Saturday. There is quite a bit of uncertainty with regards to the snow/blowing snow potential with this system. What is more clear is the potential for very strong northerly winds, falling temperatures, and dangerously cold wind chill values. Stay tuned for future updates on this situation.
