Colder air and low clouds will move south across the region today, with areas of light snow developing as well, mainly across northern and eastern portions of the forecast area. The light snow chances will persist into Saturday morning. Accumulations will be light, generally around an inch or less. A warm front then takes aim on the Dakotas Sunday through Monday, bringing mild temperatures.
