• Matt Reeves of Cross Plains, Texas, who took over the standings lead by winning the seventh round, was second in 4.2 and remained first in the standings with $142,349.
• In barrel racing, season leader Sherry Cervi of Marana, Ariz., won in 13.71 seconds. She leads the aggregate standings at 110.11. Cervi is the lone barrel racer to have placed in the six money-paying positions in all eight rounds. She tops the season standings with $241,268, and has an NFR-high $93,850.
• Defending season champion Mary Walker of Ennis, Texas, is second in the standings with $191,803.
• In tie-down roping, six-time season champion Cody Ohl of Hico, Texas, tied for second in 6.9, and leads the season standings with $180,430. He has earned an event-high $85,486 at the NFR.
• Defending champion Tuf Cooper of Decatur, Texas, who tied for second with Ohl, is second in the season standings with $159,803. He's seeking his third straight title.
• Ryan Jarrett of Commanche, Okla., won the round in 6.7.
• In team roping, the season leaders, header Clay Tryan of Billings, Mont., and heeler Jade Corkill of Fallon, Nev., remained in first despite not placing among the top six. Tryan has earned $167,969 and Corkill has made $166,338. Header Colby Lovell of Madisonville, Texas, and heeler Martin Lucero of Stephenville, Texas, won the round in 4.2.
• In all-around, Brazile secured his record-breaking 19th gold buckle when he won the all-around championship during the sixth round. Brazile has earned $357,651 after placing second in team roping with partner Smith in the eighth round and fourth in tie-down roping in 7.00.
• By topping $320,000, Brazile owns the seven highest season totals in rodeo history. He has surpassed the $300,000 mark seven times.
