The Groton Lions Club held their Christmas potluck at Topper Tastad's "Dakota Brush", last Sunday evening.  Following the meal, president Lee Schinkel introduced Dave Pigors past president.  Dave gave a history of the club, and explained the club's various activities to the new members.  Brett and Anna Schwan and Brock Abeln are the latest new members.

On November 28 Mr. and Mrs. Mike Fey, Ferney hosted Thanksgiving dinner. Those in attendance were Marvin Bahr, Brookings, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bahr, Turton, Stephanie Fey, Bismark, Art Bahr, Stevie and Nicky Fey, Ferney, and Stevie Dahlman, Rosholt.
