• Orthopedic Surgery Specialists (OSS) of Aberdeen, will join the Avera Medical Group (AMG) on January 1, 2014. The longtime orthopedic specialist practice that serves a large region surrounding Aberdeen, will be changing its name to Avera Orthopedic Surgery Specialists.
•   The practice includes orthopedic surgeons, Dr. James MacDougall, Dr. Matthew Reynen, Dr. James Mantone, Dr. Patrick Miller, and Dr. Brandon Fites; physical medicine and rehab specialist, Dr. Donald Frisco; primary care sports medicine specialist, Dr. Danny Wolfgram; and podiatrist, Dr. James Johnston. The physicians will continue practicing at their current location at 701 8^th Ave NW and ten locations in South and North Dakota.  Along with the physicians, the change to Avera will also include 115 employees of the Orthopedic Center of the Dakotas.
