• In bull riding, Shane Proctor of Grand Coulee, Wash., won his second round in a row with an 89 on Squirrel Grove.
• Only three competitors had qualifying rides in the second round. Tyler Smith of Fruita, Colo., was second with an 88 on Clubber Lang, and Cody Teel of Kountze, Texas, had an 85 on Baskin's Buckmaster.
• Three-time world season champion J.W. Harris of Mullin, Texas, leads the standing with $138,196. Smith is second with $113,809, followed by Proctor with $113,108 and Teel with $104,181.
• In bareback, defending season champion Kaycee Feild of Spanish Fork, Utah, took over first place in the standings by finishing second with an 87.5 on Darth. Seeking his third consecutive title, Feild has earned $140,307. Steven Peebles of Redmond, Ore., won the round with an 88 on Craig at Midnight.
• Previous leader Bobby Mote of Culver, Ore., has earned $126,187. He failed to earn a check when he finished outside the top six in the round with a 78 on Pony Man. Mote is seeking his fifth gold buckle.
• In steer wrestling, NFR rookie Dakota Eldridge of Elko, Nev., won with a 4.2-second run after finishing second Thursday. Eldridge, 15th entering the rodeo, has jumped to fourth with $82,356.
• "This was a strong set of steers and I just wanted to get a good start," Eldridge said. "I knew that steer was pretty good and I just had to keep his head down and be strong with him, and he was good."
• Trevor Knowles of Mount Vernon, Ore., leads the standings with $120,158.
• In team roping, header Erich Rogers of Round Rock, Ariz., and heeler Cory Petska of Marana, Ariz., tied for first with Charly Crawford of Prineville, Ore., and Ryan Motes of Weatherford, Texas, at 4.5 to move from fifth to second in the standings.
• Header Clay Tryan of Billings, Mont., and Jade Corkill, of Fallon, Nev., finished sixth in 5.1 and remained first in the standings. Tryan has earned $125,451, and Corkill has made $123,820. Rogers has earned $111,540, and Petska $111,439.
• In saddle bronc riding, Chad Ferley of Oelrichs, S.D., won the round with an 87.5 on Tip Off to jump from fourth to second in the standings with $122,401. Cody Wright of Milford, Utah, who didn't place among the top six, has the lead with $135,013.
• In tie-down roping, NFR rookie Randall Carlisle of Baton Rouge, La., won with a 6.8, the best second-round time in NFR history.
