• "We got the momentum early and stayed on the attack," Dawkins said. "A lot of guys played well for us."
• Jordan Dykstra scored 20 points to lead the Jackrabbits (3-6), who lost their second straight. Brayden Carlson added 16.
• "What I really feel like is that we wasted Stanford's time," Jackrabbit's coach Scott Nagy said. "It could have been a great opportunity for our basketball team. We're a lot better team than we showed tonight. A game like this can really hurt us."
• Stanford and South Dakota State played their second-round game of the Stanford Regional although the Legends Classic title was determined Tuesday in Brooklyn, with Pittsburgh beating the Cardinal, 88-67.
• "We're looking for improvement," Dawkins said. "We've set up the schedule to play good teams. I'd like to see us grow."
• The Jackrabbits won their sub-regional with wins over Howard and Lehigh in Brookings, S.D.
• Dawkins, a former all-American guard out of Duke, was unaware of his milestone victory. He's 100-76 overall in six years, all at Stanford.
• "It just means I've been fortunate enough to coach long enough to have 100 wins," Dawkins said. "I'm fortunate to be able to share it with this group of kids."
• The Cardinal scored the game's first 13 points and never trailed, building a 58-24 advantage by halftime.
• "We came out focused," Randle said. "We knew we had to get back to what we've done in the past."
• Stanford converted 11 of its first 15 shots and shot 67 percent in the first half. Brown and Randle, who was 3 of 5 from long range, combined to shoot 14 of 21 (67 percent) from the field and the starters were a combined 27 of 41.
• The Cardinal eventually led by as many as 39 points in the second half en route to a season high in field goal percentage at just under 60 percent.
• "We have a lot of guys who are struggling internally and turning inward," Nagy said. "That's why they played the way they played tonight. Sometimes when people are struggling, they look inward and feel sorry for themselves. Self-pity is about the most disgusting thing that can happen to any of us."
• Stanford held a 30-8 edge in points in the paint, outscored the Jackrabbits 21-6 in points off turnovers and 8-2 on fast break points before Dawkins began substituting liberally the rest of the way.
• South Dakota State is 55-24 since the beginning of the 2011-12 season, reaching the NCAA tournament last season.
