Northwest U.S. Prepares for a Strong Storm System

• While most of the nation will continue to enjoy a fairly quiet weather pattern this weekend, the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies are bracing for a strong storm system that will arrive by early Sunday. Wind, heavy rain and mountain snow will be the main threats. Flooding is also possible on rivers flowing off of the Cascades and the Skokomish on Sunday and Monday.
