Elementary Principal ~ Dan Dalchow
We have 289 students in our elementary right now.  With that many students, one would expect that there would be a few parents that for one reason or another, cannot make it to parent/teacher conferences.  It does not appear to be the case at our elementary school.  We had a great turnout for conferences this fall.  This is a good example of why our students are successful in school.  Numerous studies show that there is a strong correlation of student success when parents participate in their child's education.  I hear this, and experience it many times over throughout the year, the Groton Area School District has very strong community support and parent involvement.
• With snow and cold weather comes the snow boots season here at Groton Area Elementary.  Students are to wear snow boots whenever there is snow present on the playground.  They are also asked to have a pair of shoes to wear while in
