High School Choir  - Mrs. Yeaton
Eight members of the High School Choir traveled to Sioux Falls for All State Chorus on November 1-2. Those that participated were Kaitlin O'Neill (soprano), Kari Hanson (soprano), Laura Garcia (alto), Cheyenne Schaller (alto), Alec Voss (tenor), Devon Poppen (tenor), Luke Smith (bass), and Matt Knecht (bass). The guest conductor was Dr. Joe Miller from the Westminster Choir College at Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey.
• The High School Choir is working hard on our music for our Christmas Concert which will be held on Thursday, December 12.

Show Choir - Mrs. Yeaton

The Show Choir recently finished learning choreography for our competition show. Our choreographer is Ben Eklund, a professional choreographer from Lincoln, Nebraska.
•  Thank you to everyone who purchased cookie dough from us back in October. The fundraiser was a huge success!
•  The Show Choir students are currently selling tickets for our annual Tour of Homes which will be held on December 8. Tickets are $10 and will give you access to five beautiful homes in our town: Lisa Adler, Wendy and Glenn Cooper, Suzy Oliver, Tom and Barb Paepke, and Karla Pasteur. Thank you to those generous folks for helping us out!

Miss Kooiman
• 
I wanted to include some information about Lea Kooiman, a new vocal music director at our school. She teaches 1st-4th grade elementary music and 7th-12th grade voice lessons. She is also co-directing show choir with me. It is a blessing to have Lea in our school and community! She did a great job of subbing for me while I was gone on maternity leave at the beginning of the school year!

Computers - Cara Dennert
The computer lab has been undergoing some changes this year.  The entire school system is now using the Office 2013 programs.  Although in many ways the programs run similar to what we were using in the past, there are new features in which we are making adjustments.  Both school buildings also have some new technology in place in the form of iPads.  Every teacher has an iPad and there are two carts of 30 iPads each for student use.   Teachers also have Apple TVs available for
