The physical education classes are actively participating in their games unit, plus getting in shape with muscular and cardiovascular workouts.  The games we have been playing are:  Flag Tag, Capture the Flag, Pin Guard, Dodgeball, Kickball, Mat Ball, Relay Races, and Scooter Races.  As far as getting into shape, we have an activity that really stresses our physical endurance, that day we call "Arnold Day", which is exercises done at certain stations.

The 7th grade students have been enjoying the activity of bowling.  We have the opportunity to bowl at the Jungle Lanes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the class period.  In the bowling unit, students are taught everything from type of balls used, approach and follow-through and the most difficult-SCORING!  Bowling is a good lifetime activity that can be enjoyed by anyone at any age.  On the days we are not bowling, we have been playing a badminton tournament.

• - Mr. Harry Landlaw, a house guest of the Duncan's told us about Japan where he served as a missionary for 35 years
• - Seth Duncan who told us about Panama where he spent his Christmas break

• We hope to have many more speakers before the year is over. Many of the students have brought in pictures, souvenirs, and stories which enhances our learning.
• Thank you to Kerri Pappas who has shared monies from other countries and pins from her DI conventions that teach us very fun things about foreign countries.
