American vests and travel over to the first grade room to join the pilgrims, the first graders, for a feast.  We provide the popcorn and first grade will provide the fixings.  This is an experience that the kids never forget.
•  In Reading class, the second graders have just finished the second story in Unit 3.  This unit's theme is titled:  "Let's Create."  We have read "Abuelo and the Three Bears," which has a Spanish twist on the fairytale "Goldilocks and the Three Bears."  The students enjoyed comparing the traditional story to this one.  They learned some new Spanish words, as well.  The second graders will read more stories about expressing ourselves.
•  In Math class the students have been learning all sorts of new concepts.  Mrs. Kroll's students are busy learning more about clockwork.  Mrs. Zoellner's students are doing a unit on adding to two hundred.  The second graders have also been busy memorizing math facts to make them speedy mathematicians.
•  We have been blessed with an extra hand the last couple months.  Ms. Krystal Hughes is a Northern State University student who is completing her student teaching experience on Mrs. Zoellner's side.  She started her experience at the end of September and will be done the middle of December.  We have greatly enjoyed having her with us!

• 4th  Grade - Sue Fjeldheim and Joel Guthmiller
• Greetings to you from the Fourth Grade.  November is slowly coming to an end and things are moving along nicely this year.
•  Once again the fourth graders are selling frybread for Social Studies.  A big advance thank-you to all the parents that are going to help with this project.
•  Don't forget our reading and science text books are online.  The students have their usernames and passwords.  This means fewer books to take home.  Many students are getting close to reaching the AR goal.  Keep Reading!!!
•  In Math, we are starting to learn our multiplication and division tables.  Mom and Dad can help us out by having us practice at home, or in the car.  A few minutes here or there can really help out!  We have also been working on elapsed time and telling time.
•  English class has just finished up with possessives.  Now we are working with verbs.
•  In Science class, we are studying the changes in the Earth. Some of these changes are quick, while others happen very slowly!
•  Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from the 4th Grade class
