Oral Interp students at regions

Three qualify for State Oral Interp

Groton Area High School qualified three students in three events for the South Dakota Activities Association State Oral Interp Festival to be held in Watertown, SD on December 6-7. Senior Olivia Lone qualified in poetry reading. Junior Jocelyn Peterson qualified in dramatic plays. Sophomore Lily Cutler qualified in serious prose. Cutler was also named an alternate for serious prose. Freshman Keri Pappas is an alternate for non-original oratory and Pappas, fellow Freshman Erin Smith, and eighth grader Jenifer Fjelstand are alternates for Reader's Theater. Peterson and Lone also competed in Duet Interp.
